Alzheimer's Art Quilt Sew-In

We're holding a quilt drive for the

Azheimer's Art Quilt Initiative!!

This amazing effort, headed by internationally know quilter Ami Simms, raises funds for Alzheimer's research by selling and auctioning off small art quilts!!  And we do mean small!  Each quilt has to fit into a priority mail envelope, 9" x 12".  Anything goes, too - pieced, appliqued, embellished, etc.  This is truly an amazing effort that Ami is leading - I could go on and on, but you'll get a much better picture of the whole thing by visiting the AAQI website (click here).

We invite you to participate in our AAQI quilt drive!  Come by the shop and pick up an information sheet.  You can donate a quilt made "in the comfort of your own home" or you can join us at our Alzheimer's Quiltathons - we're holding them every 4th Thursday from 10-3.
